Shyamalan's films always have a well-conceived setting, and then narrate in a thriller and suspenseful way, even a horror way, but the quality of the narration is good and bad, very unstable. This is the case with the protagonist's family. The two children of the host family grew up rapidly, and the younger brother also had a baby with another family's daughter in puppy love. They desperately tried to escape, but they failed again and again. In the end, whether they could escape or not became the biggest suspense. . There is a certain horror element to the whole process, and there are some scenes that are quite bluffing, but there are still some loopholes in the details. The film's episodes use a reversal that doesn't work very well, and parts of the reversal are easily guessable and create some tiny holes.
