"Brief Encounter" is translated as "Meet Hate Late", this is a movie that stuffs the emotions and situations inside and outside of a love into a train station. It is full, but it can only be full. Packed in a car, as soon as you get to the next station, and then open the door, it all overflows, as if nothing happened.
In fact, instead of saying that it was an encounter outside of Laura and Alec's marriage, it could also be an encounter outside of all our plans. After that, our very different lives, different plans and expectations will urge us. Each returned to the platform that belonged to his own path.
This happens every day.
I regret that when Alec was finally leaving for work in South Africa, he wanted to say goodbye to Laura at the station restaurant, but was interrupted by a friend Laura ran into and had to pretend nothing happened. When the departure time came, Alec put a hand on Laura's shoulder and walked out of the restaurant, which was the way to go.
Sometimes we seem to be very concerned about "goodbye", but what is the difference? In the river of human growth of each individual, they are only reduced to a point at the fork in the road.
