Ps: Because it was written on and off for the past month, please criticize the local family members if there is anything wrong!
Compared with the previous work, "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence" is more controversial, and it seems that most of the controversial points are not derived from the plot, characters, and themes, but rather the "gorgeous" about innocence. Regarding this, I specially read the director's interview about innocence, the director's notes, and some people in the animation industry have said about innocence, and then made a small integration.
The composition of a firearm
I think Oshii Mamoru's audio-visual treatment of ordnance is not only innocent in this one, but almost all of his suspenseful animations are very good in this regard. For example, a large number of shots in Mobile Police 2 make tanks and troops seem to have nothing to do with people. Putting it together against the law, the labor demolition battle in the Tower of Babel in Mobile Police 1 (the strange name hhh), etc., etc., have been learned by many animation directors later.
But the firearms in innocence will be even more special.
The first is the face and the gun. If you look closely, you'll see that there are several special "facial performances" in Innocence that are actually done with the muzzle. For example, in the shot of the bald gangster, the muzzle of the revolver and the bald face are drawn together, and the stainless steel material and glossy design of the pistol increase the amount of information in this storyboard.
For example, in this shot of Togusa, the background behind it is distorted, but it is not easy to be observed, because the pistol is painted in several layers, and the painting is extremely fine. Extreme relationships create a huge sense of unreality.
The second is the tilt shot that was played out of the flower. Teacher Yang Tingbao once said that Oshii Shou did not directly use the real shooting technique, but imitated the real shooting technique in various ways. For example, this one, Bart's last passionate burst, changed the ray through 90-degree shooting, reflecting the depth of the composition (see Oshii Mamoru's innocence note)
I also like this one: Bart, who is nervously fighting with his gun, and Togusa, who has a relaxed expression. But Bart's nervousness is hard to express with bottle caps! Therefore, Mamoru Oshii chose to put the height of the camera at the waist position. In this way, the extension line of the gun body will naturally converge at the bottom of the center and walk towards the wall. This perspective can perfectly create a sense of tension.
Two-color designation
I don't know much about this, but I thought it was very special and listed it!
This "Innocent" is actually Oshii Mori's most "warm" movie. Most of Oshii Mamoru's films are composed of cold tones and hard light. After all, the issues he discussed before and what he hoped to express are all things with a sense of estrangement and distance. But this time, especially the sections of Guandi Temple, the outside is basically yellow and yellow, and this yellow and yellow also deliberately creates a "fancy" feeling.
Of course! ! ! Most importantly: a sense of contrast. For example, during the parade, there is a contrast between the huge puppet and the small person, and in the color, the yellow tone of the large outside and the gray tone of Bart and Togusa also form a huge contrast, making it easier for the audience to focus on the On the characters, they will not be insufficient in the "environmental performance", which is wonderful.
Three-action play design
There are about three key points here: the relationship between 3D and 2D, the choice of original artist, and how to achieve the action effect of real shooting or even surpassing real shooting.
The following are just a few of the actions that I think are the best to do
The first is the "first battle" between the doll and Bart. The action of the puppet here is to use the rotation of the lens to supplement the sense of speed in 3D. The sense of oppression brought by this sense of speed is extremely strong, and even has a violent and incredible feeling.
The second is: the shot overlooking the stairs, comparing the action of Bart with the embarrassed Togusa, and the action of Bart extending the muzzle also complements the dynamic in front of the camera
The third (and one of my favorite actions): the classic Bart jumping from the well in the history of painting. It is definitely the smartest way to choose Daping Jin as the original painting. Even if it is a real performance, Daping Jin's wild lines and perspectives make this follow-up camera dynamic! Daping Jinye's chef is really satisfying!
Imagery and Metaphors of the Four Old Schools
Flowers, birds, insects and fish are said to be rotten, so I won't go into details.
Here's a metaphor that I've found to be particularly well-placed
The first one, the mobile terminal that flies in the sky, is the tasteless and cold body of human beings. The gyroplane also has sections of short wings that look like fallen angels descending into purgatory. It is the puppet that is implied here.
The second, the pupil. The pupil is a microcosm of the universe and a distinctive sign of life. The azure blue pupils seem to have possessed a soul.
Third, dolls and people. During the parade, the action density of the huge doll and the relatively small people is overwhelming compared to the doll. The play of the puppets in the back has a strong sense of traction, but in fact they are breaking away from the original "traction", which is also a metaphor that is handled well.
The writing is not very good, but it is the first time to write a long review for your favorite movie. If you study a lot in the future, you can also improve the second and third editions of innocent movie reviews! All in all, I love Duck Duck! ! ! (speaking out loud)
