Excellent production cannot make up for the lack of interest caused by lack of text

There are spoilers!

The production is very good, but in addition to the excellent and smooth graphics, it is still tormented to watch, just like when watching the first season of TV. The touchstone of the second-dimensional concentration is not bad, but it is not that good.

The problem mainly comes from the text of the original work. Some of the treatments are very delicate (the hypnotized ordinary people saw the inner world of several members of the Ghost Killing Team, which is very good, and they were moved), but most of the time, they still chose the inferior solution. Let's talk about a little detail. At the end, if you replace it with other cartoonists, you will never choose a few people hugging their heads and crying, which is the most simple and straightforward depiction that leads to a lack of tension. For example, if it was Kishimoto, he might choose to eat with the big brother in the previous plot and call it delicious (refer to Naruto eating popsicles after Jiraiya's death). At some later point, Tanjiro ate the same bento (preferably while on the train), said "yummy", and then had a very short recollection. Here Tanjiro can cry or not cry, depending on how the author wants to describe the character Tanjiro. After that, I cut the perspective. In the manga, I gave Tanjirou's face close-up first, and the next page gave a full page without lines. When doing the animation, I gave a perspective without a soundtrack. It feels much better than the current direct treatment.

How should I put it, this kind of direct giving may also be one of the reasons for the fire of the ghosts. The emotions are directly stuffed by the author to the audience/reader, especially the inner monologue of Tanjiro's large-scale novels, which are very full. It takes time and brains to taste, but from the creative point of view, it is too thin and boring and lacks aftertaste. There are also problems with the old-fashioned story line (the main line, the background of each character) and the flawed plot. Other comments have said a lot, so I will not repeat them one by one.

Just like all the essence of tv is in episode 19, all the essence of the theater version is in Yanzhu vs. 30 minutes, the other parts can only be said to be unsatisfactory. ufotable still doesn't know how to do literary drama, and the three on the carbon ruler wolf mouth gun should be an emotional flashpoint, but the storytelling is too dull to weaken the appeal.

When I was reading the comics back then, although I didn't have much impression of my eldest brother, I still burst into tears when I saw him die. Watching the animated version this time, although I can't hate the third brother, the older brother is too! Hero! too! So sad! I cried many times for Big Brother and Tan Tan when I watched it! Really is! Who doesn't shout after reading: Big Brother! Really big brother! woohoo woo...
