Let's take a look at "Savages" first. The main line of the story is the gang fight of drug dealers. Two friends with completely different personalities, Ben and Chon, have developed high-purity marijuana because they studied in the Department of Plants at the university. They are also very popular because of their fair price and justice. Blake Lively plays their partner Ophelia (nicknamed O), who is also the girlfriend of the two. This is quite interesting, a peaceful triangle relationship (really doubts whether the two male protagonists also love each other). The two male protagonists are brother-like friends, so they would rather share a woman than destroy their friendship. (However, what is not mentioned in the film is how Ophelia and them developed such a willingness to be born and die with them.)

The Mexican drug cartel led by Irina wanted to force the protagonist to cooperate with them, and the two evaded the need Considering time, they actually planned to flee to Indonesia, but their intention was discovered, so Ophelia, who was making the final purchase for the escape, was kidnapped.

I think the focus of the whole film is on the word barbarians. At the beginning, I said, don't conflict with the gang of Irina, because they are all barbarians. Pulling Duo from the beginning of the movie with Jelena's hand to solve a lawyer who is not able to handle things clearly shows that the two sides handle things in different styles. But after Ophelia was tied up, even Ben, who was originally a pacifist, was forced to choose the bloodiest and most violent way of barbarians to rescue the most beloved woman.

It should be said that Blake Lively has been stereotyped by the master of lace or something, he plays this kind of rich girl with a mess of life. But it suits her well. It is mentioned in the play that her mother is always missing, and Uma Schumann appears on the cast list, but she did not see it in the movie. In fact, Uma Schumann is the mother who plays Ou Langji Tianya, but the unfortunate scene has been cut out. .

There is also a main female character in the film, Queen Elena, the villain’s leader. He ordered the kidnapping of their favorite woman, Ou, in order to make Ben and Chon subordinate, but he has complicated feelings for Ou. Ou reminded him of his own. Daughter Majia, because her mother is a drug dealer leader, she doesn't want to accept her mother's care, and Ou who wants but doesn't get her mother's attention. Elena is willing to have a high-level dinner with the European Communist Party and watch TV and chat together. Even if she is a gang leader who must be cruel and ruthless, she still can't hide the regret and love of a mother for her daughter. In the end, Ben and Chon decided to use their own way to cure their lives. When Majia was kidnapped, Ilena finally collapsed completely and was willing to exchange hostages with Europe.

Probably that is the case. I think there is no absolute good or bad in this story, nor is there such drama as evil being overthrown and justice being done, but you have to choose how to protect the most cherished person. At the end, different people have different opinions. Some people may think it is fake and fooled. Some people think there is another meaning, but Ophelia said at the beginning, "Although I am telling this story, it does not mean that I have lived to the end. "Does fate really give them a chance?" Or is it just the last delusion?

This is not a commercial entertainment film. The fighting scenes used as gimmicks in the trailer are actually not the point. Although the beautiful coastal scene is used as the stage, it only reflects the heavy emotions behind the whole story. Overall it is really exciting and I recommend everyone to watch it.

O: [voice-over] Just because I'm telling you this story doesn't mean I'm alive at the end of it. This could all be pre-recorded and I could be talking to you from the bottom of the ocean. Yeah, it's that kind of a story. Because things just got so out of control.

  • Ben: That was Mexico, this is Laguna. The cops wear shorts and ride bicycles.
