I liked Greek mythology the most since I was a child. I have read the Iliad and Odyssey many times, but I just couldn't watch the movie Troy, and I don't know why.
I have a little understanding of Egyptian mythology. I suddenly found such a film today. I thought about it and watched it. I didn't expect it to be very pleasant.
Maybe this is the beauty of distance? The more you know, the more picky you become. If you don't know much, you don't pay much attention to the details, but follow the director's ideas.
The first surprise is the male protagonist Baker and his lover, both of them are so good looking! Immediately attracted me.
Next came the Prince's appearance. The height difference between him and the servants around him really surprised me. Only then did I realize that something was wrong with this drama. It wasn't an epic drama like Cleopatra, and it had fantasy elements. The height ratio should be derived from the mural, right?
At first I thought the prince was the villain, until he had something to say to the god of love before he went to the coronation, but he didn't say it, then I realized that something must have happened to the coronation.
Then, as expected, my uncle came. At the beginning, when I hugged, I thought it would be stabbed. Later, when I blew the horn, I thought the horn was poisonous. Just when I was slack, my uncle usurped the throne.
Originally thought it was an ordinary revenge story, the so-called gods are tall, official positions and the like. It wasn't until they transformed that I was pleasantly surprised that it was really a fairy tale!
The plot after that is a bit old-fashioned, but also moving. It is disappointing that the water of life obtained with so much effort has no success data, but it is relieved. Only sincerity can be successful.
In the end, the prince chose to go to the male lead, which was really a highlight moment.
It is a story with a comedy ending, I believe that Miss Eros will come back in the end.
It's a movie about sincerity and love, and I love it.
Forgot to mention, what shocked me was the restoration of some mythological scenes, such as the flat earth, the sun god is really shocking.
