I watched it under my husband's desperate Amway, and it was indeed reversed, meticulous

Many reversals are unexpected. What we meet is God’s will, and what we have is luck. In life, the most exhausting thing is often not the distance of the road, but the depression in the heart; the most painful thing is often not the misfortune of life, but It is the shattering of hope; the most decadent thing is often not the rough future, but the loss of self-confidence; the most desperate thing is often not the blow of setbacks, but the death of the soul. I knew that the subtitles were so bad, it would be better to watch the Mandarin dubbing, they are too difficult to understand!

Even with so many details cut out from Granny's book, the adapted movie still feels too complicated. But I think this level of adaptation is really successful. In addition to the old drama bones, the scene where the train starts and returns to the "civilized world" after the snow is finally cleared is also amazing.

Murder on the Orient Express quotes

  • Hercule Poirot: The obvious implication is that the murderer, disguised as a conductor, boarded the train at Belgrade, made his way by means of the convenient passkey to Ratchett's compartment, stabbed him to death, planted the dagger and the uniform, and then departed, since the train was now halted in a snowdrift. Who was he? I am inclined to agree with Mr Foscarelli, who believes that he was a rival member of the Mafia, exacting private vengeance for a vendetta whose precise nature the Yugoslav police will undoubtedly identify.

Dr. Constantine: But... is that all?

Hercule Poirot: No. No, no, no, no. No, it is not. I said, here is the simple answer. There is also a more... complex one. But remember my first solution when I... when you've heard my second.

  • Greta Ohlsson: I was born backwards. That is why I work in Africa as missionary, teaching little brown babies more backwards than myself.
