The movie is simply this: Nelson, a workaholic and elite male protagonist in the advertising industry, is kidnapped home by the seemingly unassuming female protagonist Sarah when she suffers a double blow in career and love. The month-long November begins. Retrofit. Through this month, Nelson gradually changed his outlook on life and fell in love with Sarah who kidnapped him home.
But. What strikes me the most is that the film is full of uncertainty from beginning to end:
The successful and talented Nelson's original life was suddenly stopped; his love also left him; he was abducted home by the out-of-tune Sarah; Incurable disease; two people in love because Sarah wants Nelson to remember her healthy and beautiful appearance and Nelson finally chooses to let go.
This is life, and the only certainty is that everything is uncertain. I tried my best to control everything in my life, but in the end I was mad to find that I couldn't control anything. Rather than fall into a vicious cycle of despair, let go of control, embrace uncertainty, and live in the moment. Losing control of life can be a frustrating thing, but the beauty of it is its uncertainty: you never know what surprises await you in the future.
“Every month is November, Sarah , and i love you everyday.”
