The movie was released in 1972, and that year still had the nickname "Sick Man of East Asia"! This shows the repercussions of this film on the society, and we are still influenced by this film in many places!
It was not until the 23rd Olympic Games held in Los Angeles, USA in 1984, when Chinese shooter Xu Haifeng won the first gold medal, that the title of "Sick Man of East Asia" was officially broken.
When I first heard people commenting on Bruce Lee: "A real hero on and off stage", I began to pay attention to his films, and it was precisely because I watched this that I finally understood why people said that Bruce Lee was a man of backbone and ethnicity. Plot of patriots!
Each of his films expresses: a strong and unyielding spirit, would rather die than bow to evil forces. The reason is that most of the plots of other movies are just plots to elicit fight scenes, which makes the whole movie story extremely awkward and mindless, which will also lead to far-fetched and rigid settings for characters and behaviors, and the plot will not come naturally. The lead out of the martial arts scene! There are even some movies with hasty endings, which made me, who was expecting it, disappointed after watching it!
But the wonderful fight scenes without any special effects in the movie made me not classify them as bad movies, just gave them one!
"Jingwumen" avoids the above problems very well. The plot naturally leads to fighting scenes, and the plot also resonates with me! No matter if I go to the gym with the "Sick Man of East Asia" sign or smash the sign "Dogs are not allowed in" on the street, my emotions go from anger to joy! As the movie said: "It is precisely because of our unsatisfactory performance that we are discriminated against by foreign powers"! No one has stood up and the sign "Dogs are not allowed in" will still be there!
The final mapping shot of the film is even more exciting. Bruce Lee, facing the foreign concession powers who are all armed with guns outside the door, jumped up and raised his hand and waved his fist. "That kind of momentum of letting the horse come over" shows the heroic spirit of sacrificing for the nation. Incisively and vividly!
