Friends, if America is gone one day, don't feel sorry for it. This is what the American politicians did themselves. If you have a friend who wants to go to the US, recommend him to the movie "Sicko", which is guaranteed to put him off the idea. "Sicko" is more of a documentary than a movie. It documents the inside story of the American healthcare system. The beginning of the film tells the story of an American named Rick because he cannot enjoy the health care system, and the hospital gave him two choices: connect his middle finger with $60,000 or 1. $2 on the ring finger. Eventually Rick, a desperate romantic, chose to attach his ring finger, the tip of his middle finger enjoying its new home in an Oregon landfill. To be honest, it's really unheard of for me to put a price on one's body because it's really hard for a person to accept. At that time, the director received thousands of letters of various kinds, all written by staff in the medical insurance industry. The letter contained only one content: "The health insurance company is rotten and sloppy." In order to reject patients, the insurance company would make a list of people who would not get insurance money, and the list was said to be long enough to go around the house. The following is my mental journey when I read the list: Before reading the list: "Can I go around the house for a week? I don't believe it!" When reading the list: "My God, so much? Hey, can you slow down the subtitles above?" After finishing the list: "Around the house, right? I believe it!" I have to say, the post-production staff presented this list in the form of the "Star Wars" theme song to add a little fun to the movie. But it's also because this list is too long, and it can't be cut later for people to search for themselves. Becky, from one of the top insurance companies in the United States, mentioned in her recollection that she once hosted a couple, and they were very happy to get insurance, so she applied for the couple, and of course was rejected. She was really very sad, but she couldn't say anything to them and even felt like a piece of shit herself, so every time she answered the phone she felt like a sinner. In fact, it is not that no one has tried to implement a national health care system in the United States before this. Hillary Clinton's decision to prioritize health insurance for everyone ended in failure. To be honest, I think the introduction of Hillary in the film is forcibly inserted, but this insertion is quite ironic. The director uses the introduction of Hillary to set off how stupid American politicians are. And they do anything for their own benefit, they demonize the public health care system by asking famous actors to record, and they invite people to drink coffee and listen to the recordings. (I have to say that this move is really damaging...) The US congressmen are also very "busy", what are they busy with? Busy selling candy...
Speaking of the medical insurance system, the director really couldn't get used to the American system, so he traveled to Canada, the United Kingdom and France. I made a summary of their medical system, but the content is too much to be too lazy to talk about, but there is only one thing in common: they do not need to spend money to see a doctor. Look what a contrast! Why is the gap between the same capitalist countries so big? The smiles of those patients seemed to be mocking the United States: "Look! We don't pay for treatment, can you do it?"
At this point, the film is almost over. To be honest, the American health care system does not help people, but leaves people with huge financial pressure. If the medical system cannot be reformed, the pressure of the masses will increase, and it will be a matter of time before the United States disappears.
