Sexual Assault in the Workplace: Conspiracy to Conspire

The eighth episode of Mitch's sexual assault on Hannah is probably a typical case of workplace sexual assault. For a young woman who comes to a big city to work hard and is eager to make some achievements, he (superior) is humorous, easy to deal with, and seems to be able to empathize with you, so it is inevitable that there will be no ambiguous emotions. You thought he invited you to watch a movie in his room, but he took your invitation as a green light to your vagina. You don't know how to react for a moment, what does that mean? Does he have a crush on you? What will happen if I reject him? Will you lose your job? No, who couldn't say it, was confirmed time and time again in his sleepless sleep and in the hallway with casual greetings. It turns out that you are really nothing more than an object to him. You report to a higher-level leader, but he just uses your complaint as a bargaining chip for your promotion. They think it's just casual sex, you don't have to take it too seriously. If you hold on to it, they'll say you're crazy women, and if you go with the flow, they'll say you're slut. In such a rape culture, in such an unequal gender structure, women seem to do everything wrong. Mitch said what a creep after seeing Weinstein's news report. Even after the incident came to light, he still felt, it's consensual. He must have felt that he was attracting countless women through his charm, with pigs full of flesh. Different. Are there really consistent sex in power relations?

The ending was a bit dramatic, because Hannah's death was found by all conscience? Such a large media group has no contingency plan? Expose the boss in the live broadcast? And how could there be only two bad guys in an organization, Mitch and Fred. Originally, it was to explore the toxic workplace environment and the oppression of women in the male-dominated society. I feel that the black and white dichotomy at the end is a bit rushed.
