I am very fortunate that I am currently living in an era of peace, without the pain and death of war. In a war, the ugliness of human nature was displayed to the extreme. The concentration camps slaughtered Jews, youth troops, kamikaze agents, dead children, civilians, etc. The evil deeds of Nazism are really suffocating. Of course, the Allies were not much better, and they treated the hostile side with extreme brutality. It was absolutely impossible to suppress violence with violence. However, I don't think there is a war in the world that is good or bad. When one side wins, it is bad for the other side; when one side loses, it is good for the other side.
