Seventy years ago, every character was a vivid existence in history. The classic scenes in these precious pictures can be listed without limit: the peaceful ghetto before the lightning strike in Poland, the Jewish youth smiled shyly in front of the camera; after Paulus was captured, he calmly pulled out in front of Khrushchev Military ID, his eyes are both helpless and relieved; the Japanese kamikaze who fell into the water ignored the rope thrown from the US warship and blew a grenade and blew himself up, causing ripples in the sea; and Hitler urged Nero's self-righteousness The commander in Paris started to destroy this thousand-year-old ancient city: "How? Did Paris burn? Is Paris burning? ..."
But I only remember one moment completely. No, not Auschwitz or any other concentration camp.
It was after the German army fell to Stalingrad. Hitler blocked the news and ordered Goebbels to increase positive propaganda and continue to mobilize the Germans to inject their lives into the Nazi meat grinder. "We must never mention the defeat of Stalingrad. We are talking about sacrifice, sacrifice!"
Another big political rally. Countless German men, women and children have come together again for the same goal. They raised their right arms high, and a jungle full of determination and will suddenly grew on the venue. They shouted loudly, their faces filled with ecstasy. They finally seized such an opportunity to integrate their limited lives into the infinite torrent of history.
