Gentleman and Survival

The first musical I watched. Seeing the live-action Disney's singing and dancing, the choreography is more delicate and attentive, the scene and the music are connected smoothly and beautifully, and the flying of the musical is perfectly combined with the solemnity of the movie. The picture of the film is smudged in gray-brown tones, simple and solemn, echoing the fog of that era (it seems that British film and television has its unique filter that can tell you apart). In the industrial age, the gap between the rich and the poor has been staggering, with muddy waste waterways, mottled and dilapidated buildings, dirty streets, and all kinds of people on the bottom edge of the bottom-this is the residence of pickpocketing groups; white and magnificent houses, fresh and clean parks, decent manners The residents of the rich area are harmonious and beautiful, "who wants to buy this wonderful morning". Olive is well-behaved and gentlemanly polite, while Nancy is very kind. The most profound character in the whole play is undoubtedly Bill. It is said that he supports a group of children for pickpocketing and stealing, but he does allow these Oliver Twist to survive in the world; he is selfish and regards money as his life, but it seems that only money can give him a sense of security. He's terrifying, but he's not unforgivable. Dickens' novels seem to have always explored the topic of "what is a real gentleman", perhaps this is the honor and belief in the bones of Britain. Olive has gone through pain and wandering since childhood, but he has not lost his precious heart. He is innocent and cute, and has a polite demeanor, which makes people fall in love at first sight. Gentlemen are firm and clear from the heart, and they are more brilliant under the polishing of hardships. And the irony is the alley at the end of the film: the little clever ghost dodge propped up against the wall like a little adult, and threw the wallet he stole during the chaos to Bill who had lost all his stolen treasures. . But can you really blame him? As Nancy sings: "We can only live like this, but we are also very happy, that's enough" People are each other's Yinai, walking to the end of the alley and ending in joyful singing and dancing. In the distance, the ancient blue and red orange clouds are dyed, a sunrise, and another tomorrow.

The black and white one is better overall, but oliver is more like the book.

The overly sadness of the original is beyond my comprehension. I always think that there is both great good and evil, great evil and there should be good. So Romansky's version gave me a little bit of love for this work. Ben Kingsley's Fagin is not so pure. Although the bitterness scene at the end of the evil is a little suspicious, it is always endearing, and the failure loses all its social significance by omitting Oliver's life experience.
