Some thoughts on World War II

After watching this documentary, I also have some insights into the war. This documentary is more about the daily life of soldiers and ordinary people in the war, which allows us to experience the cruelty of war more empathically: soldiers fought desperately on the front line and sacrificed countless lives; the homes of ordinary people were destroyed And looting, displacement; workers are tortured by work, and some factories even exhausted countless laborers... And every victory in war is based on the sacrifice of these countless ordinary people, every time I think of this, I have deeply felt the cruelty of war. So what is the purpose of war? Nothing more than for the economy between countries, for the interests of countries. But from another angle, isn't the interests of the country linked to the interests of the people? Combined with the brutal scenes in the documentary, war is a paradox. Finally, I am fortunate that we were not born in an era of war, and may there be no war in the world forever.
