Hope to be happy and brave from now on

It's not a Dongmu-style movie, but that doesn't stop me from liking him. I started the Dongmu album from the Red Dead trilogy, and the only feeling I had before was cool: Revolver is crackling in my hand and happy and grudge. Later, I saw "Perfect World", and then I saw "The Mule". The style went slower and slower, and the tears became lower and lower. It feels like winemaking, with a lively rhythm and personality at first, then gradually introverted and finally flat. This movie is a very good movie. People always have to face death, and there are some words and secrets that we don't want or fail to tell before death for various reasons, which gives the profession of psychic a living space. But true psychics will certainly face enormous challenges. Everything he saw and heard was soaked in pain. After all, it was impossible to let go of life and death so easily. So George said that he didn't want to continue this job, because "if you always listen to the world of the dead, how should you face the world of the living? After all, life is the meaning of life now", so he has been emphasizing that this is not a talent, but a curse. The three storylines of the movie unfold very well, and the way they intersect at the end can be a little abrupt, but logically yes. But this is exactly what the director has always wanted to express: let the past pass away, let those who have suffered in the past let go, and let the living live happily.

Hereafter quotes

  • Billy: [about George] He said, "A life that's all about death is no life at all."

  • George Lonegan: Sometimes, I mean you know, knowing everything about someone, uhhh, its, uh, it seems nice, but really, maybe it's-it's actually better to hold stuff back.
