Haven't watched the first one. After reading a lot of comments about the difference between the two films, I decided to watch the second one directly. At that time, the desire that triggered my desire to watch was still this monster that needs everyone's silence, which is kind of interesting.
From the perspective of horror movies alone, there are still a few scenes that were frightened and very exciting. Too bad I didn't get to see this movie in the cinema. From the plot point of view, it is almost impossible for horror movies to have no flaws. For example, the most obvious one is that it is difficult to survive in such a place where monsters are full of monsters no matter how careful you are with a baby...
But the nice thing is the multi-line narrative. One line is that the mother and son are hiding in an underground airtight isolation pipe, but they have to come out to breathe fresh air from time to time; on the other side, the heroic daughter takes her father and friends to save the world.
The strange thing is that these monsters seem to be missing usually, but as long as there is a slight noise, they can come from all directions. The setting of Xanadu Island at the end is very good. But once the vigilance is relaxed, no one is patrolling the coastline, and once the accident happens, it will be out of control.
Anyway, if there is the next one, I will definitely go to the cinema to support it.
