Thousands of troops are easy to get, but one general is hard to find

A sheep commands a group of lions, and we see the lion's bravery wasted by the sheep's ignorance. But how do you know that those brave lions will not become a sheep after taking the lead.
As long as you have passion on the battlefield, you can become a fearless lion, but strategizing is not so easy to master.
Politics is the embodiment of group interests, and all their actions are originally to maximize the interests of their respective groups, not for peace, let alone justice. Politics in peacetime is more difficult to do, and there are invisible enemies everywhere. So don't expect to get a lion who can excel on this stage. Once such a once-in-a-century talent appears, perhaps the whole world will change for it.
The whole movie is just keep talking, keep talking, keep talking. Intrigue is not suitable for me, so I have never liked politics, and naturally I don't understand it. No matter how stable the peace is, it is only a superficial phenomenon. As long as there is a distribution of interests, there will be conflicts. People say we need to make ourselves strong so that no one can bully us. But I say, if you get strong enough, you will definitely want to bully people. This is politics. This is a war that will never end.

Three-tier competition, civic education, and handsome guys, and the end of the Easter egg. Idealistic nirvana, it is better to wash away and sleep.

Lions for Lambs quotes

  • Senator Jasper Irving: What I can say is that this strategy has patience and determination at its core. It ensures that it puts our fighting men in spots where they can face, and fight, and kill the enemy, so that we can then go on about rebuilding that country. And if it takes ten years, that's how long we stay, we do whatever it takes.

Janine Roth: [quoting the Senator] Whatever it takes.

Senator Jasper Irving: Whatever it takes.

  • Janine Roth: Why did we send 150,000 troops to a country that did not attack us, and one-tenth that number to the one that did?

Senator Jasper Irving: How many times are you people going to ask the same question?

Janine Roth: Till we get the answer.
