After watching the "A Quiet Place" a few years ago, I never thought that there would be a sequel. This sequel is a little unexpected.
I personally don't think the previous one is a very good work. Except for a little exaggeration of the atmosphere, there is nothing outstanding in the plot, that is, a second-rate thriller.
This sequel feels a little bit worse than the previous one. There is nothing new in the plot, but after the last story, the mother took the three brothers and sisters to move forward together, and then met a new survivor's story. In this part, the family has completely changed from passive to active in the face of alien creatures, which is a marked change from hiding in the previous part. Especially my mother and sister, they are the saviors of mankind.
The plot of this one is actually a transitional one, and there may well be a sequel. Just in the face of such word of mouth and box office, perhaps investors will be more cautious.
