When I watched the movie, the name I searched for was "There's Always a Hot Sun". I didn't quite understand why it was called this name at the beginning. Is it because the male owner smiled brightly? I have to say that Maguire is really handsome.

Homer grew up in an orphanage in Maine. When he was a child, he was adopted twice and came back. He was accidentally seen by the dean holding a stethoscope listening to the stomach of a pregnant woman. Only responsible for delivery, refusing abortion. Later, the lieutenant and his fiancée Gandy, who came to have an abortion, were taken to the apple orchard, went to see the sea, caught lobsters, and stayed with Gandy when the lieutenant went to the front. (When I saw the three of them walking on the grass together in the movie, I couldn't help but think of the sentence, I'm not here to break up you, I'm here to join you. In the end, the plot was really green. The lieutenant, not only came to the apple orchard to pick apples, but also tasted the apples of Adam and Eve.)

Although he has always denied that he is a doctor and does not want to go back to be an assistant in the old courtyard, when he saw the girl working with him was desperate because of pregnancy, he still took out the surgical instruments sent to him by the old courtyard and performed an abortion for the girl. Seeing this angry about what happened to the black girl, but in the end she went away and killed the father who made her pregnant is a good relief for the girl.

At the end of the movie, Gandy went to take care of the captain who was paralyzed because of the war. Homer also went back to the orphanage to take over the work of the old dean. Through this period of living outside, he also accepted to be a childbirth while abortion. Doctor, read a story to the children every night, and then go out and say good night to the princes of Maine, the kings of New England, just as the old dean did.

The story ends, and the scorching sun also emerges. It is reflected in the fact that after the lieutenant came home paralyzed, he still loves him and takes care of his fiancé, Ganti, who was raped by his biological father and became pregnant, but finally succeeded in having an abortion and killed the black girl Lu who escaped from his father's control. Si still came out and fulfilled her wish to see the sea and tasted the apple. After returning home, there were still so many people who liked Homer. After all kinds of wind and rain, the sun will finally appear, as if a lot of things have happened, but everything is running on the original track.

  • Fuzzy: Is your father dead?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Cirrhosis. It's a disease of the liver.

Fuzzy: What, a liver killed him?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: No, alcohol killed him. He drank himself to death.

Fuzzy: But did you know him?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Barely. But it hardly mattered that I knew him.

Fuzzy: Did you know your mother better?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Mm-hmm. She's dead now too. She was a nanny.

    Fuzzy: What's a nanny do?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: She looks after other people's children.

Fuzzy: Did she grow up around here?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: No. She was an immigrant.

    Fuzzy: What's an immigrant?

Dr. Wilbur Larch: Someone not from Maine.

  • Homer Wells: I was wondering if you could give me a ride.

    Homer Wells: Where you going?

Wally Worthington: We're heading back to Cape Kenneth.

Homer Wells: Cape Kenneth? That sounds fine.
