A successful modern business adaptation

First of all, the movie is good from a remake perspective. First, many details have been localized. For example, the conflict between the French black male protagonist and his mother, siblings, has become a more common conflict between husband and wife and children in American blacks; the French palace villa has also become an American high-end apartment. Second, the muted French humor has also turned into a more direct and explosive American comedy. This is played very well by Kevin Hart, and it has to be listed as a label of the film. That's why it brings out the crucial point of this film - it's a pure comedy. (personally...) Compared with the French version, which tells the whole story with mutual redemption as the main line, the American version focuses on the blasting of laughs. Of course, this kind of visual experience will be better and more popular (commercial films). What's even more interesting is that the American version of the pen pal rejected the rich white man (that scene was super tense!), and the rich white man did not take the initiative to overcome his cowardice towards his deceased wife in the end. This arrangement is more realistic and more immersive. However, it is a pity that the American version lacks the carving of details, which leads to the lack of rationality of the front and back. After all, the above-mentioned sense of tragedy has not become the core of the comedy. In addition to the lack of plot design, the French version is a classic because its soundtrack is definitely ingenious, and its effect on the plot and atmosphere is self-evident. Finally, from a personal point of view, the color palette of the American version is more in line with modern aesthetics (although the French version is only in 2011 and is northward...). Comedy, you have to make people laugh first, which is quite qualified! Kevin Hart I'm so good!

    Dell Scott: Life what?

    Guy in Elevator: Auxiliary.

Dell Scott: That's what they calling it now?
