The film opens in North America on July 30. This is a very neat and old-fashioned jungle adventure movie, inspired by a ride in Disneyland, "Jungle River", and the film also reflects the entertainment independent of the story. The film has a large number of scenes that are complicated at first glance, but are actually carefully arranged, with colorful strange animals, plants and natural landscapes, and the viewing is not bad. There are lenses designed for 3D out-of-screen effects that allow moviegoers to experience the feeling of being pressed into their seats. It even has elements that come directly from the rides and are used as jokes in the movie. As a type of jungle treasure hunt, the movie still follows the characteristics of "Indiana Jones" and "Pirates of the Caribbean": thrilling and witty action scenes, mysterious and magnificent ancient ruins, less publicized surreal elements and some scary people Goosebumps horror scene. In terms of the protagonist setting, it is slightly different from the past, there is a foreshadowing, but there is no big surprise. In general, the film lacks the aura of Indiana Jones and the atmosphere of Pirates of the Caribbean, especially the music is too ordinary, and there is no iconic bridge. If you've seen a lot of past movies of the same type, you may feel a lot of deja vu. But as an entertainment movie specially tailored for theaters, it is undoubtedly a qualified work.
