The only frontal conflict between Hatch and his wife is this sentence, which is also a manifestation of his wife's dissatisfaction with life.
The film begins with repetition by showing us a man falling off the tracks of a regular life. Taking out the garbage could not be completed in time. Facing the gangsters, he was submissive, and he belied himself in front of the children, which led to a lot of decline in the status of the Hatch family. The son is reluctant to communicate with his father, and there is a 38 line between sleeping with his wife. Only the innocent daughter is willing to interact with Hatch.
Cold violence + life out of control brings Hatch back to the starting point. It's odd that the finale can be reunited, Hatch loves being told every week: You missed the garbage truck again.
