Two people met, fell in love, lived together, quarreled, broke up. It's that simple.
I thought it would be a Hollywood comedy with a happy ending. It won't be a real breakup, it must be a misunderstanding and it will definitely be resolved.
But when I look at it, my heart keeps sinking. After watching this play, I actually felt a little bit crying. Everything is too real. In the last scene, the two people who broke up met by chance in the street. The embarrassment when greeting each other, the kind of astonishment, and the atmosphere were heartache. The two were the closest lovers, but they became strangers in the end, making people sad. This scene seemed to have opened my scars and reminded me of certain plots that I don't want to remember anymore.
Breaking up is not a good comedy subject. If I had known that "The Break Up" was such a movie, I would never choose to watch it.
