The film Wolf Walker is an animated film based on Irish folklore.
The story roughly tells the story of a little girl who immigrated to Ireland from England, from aspiring to become a wolf hunter to a werewolf, and finally protects the wolves and lives happily with them.
This movie seems to be a story about a little girl growing up, a story about protecting a forest, but in fact, it is a metaphorical story about Irish people fighting against English invasion and colonization. The little girl and her father came to Ireland with the English, and they built the castle. They plunder the local forests and form an antagonistic relationship with the local natives - the wolves in the movie. The little girl also wanted to be a hunter, but because of various opportunities, she became friends with the young master of the wolf pack, and changed herself - she also became a "wolf Walker", a kind of can change. Adults can also become wolves. The local English lords have been trying to exterminate all wolves, or tame them. The little girl, however, stood firmly on the wolf's side, bankrupted the plot, and eventually changed her father.
The film isn't great in terms of plot, but its art background and hand-drawn graphics do add a lot to the story. There is a sense of quaint art in the style.
Overall, the overall look and feel of the movie is okay, with a personal score of 7.5-8. Those who are interested can take a look.
