gorgeous loose sand

I haven't read the original story, so only for this movie.
Somewhat disappointed!
At the beginning, the story of "a long, long time ago" was cliché, but it was easy to accept; and the scene of the witch's actions was really amazing (in fact, from the perspective of the clips alone, the special effects of this film are indeed no less than Hollywood), However, 12 years later, the film began to mess up.
In this film, the Russian director seems to have made the same mistake as the Chinese director: desperately stuffing the plot and characters.
If Anton is still the protagonist, the gorgeous supporting characters and other characters across time and space make the film crowded and complicated, which can be called "big and ineffective", effectively reducing the cohesion and appeal of the plot. So that the film is often incorporated into the strange boredom.
The plot of the Night Watch is chaotic. Personally, I feel that this film is more suitable to be made into an American TV series, so that it can arrange better time for many characters to show their "personality". Tribute to the Russian director, but also to the disappointment of the screenwriter, let's go back to the book and watch the movie.

Night Watch is a prequel to Day Watch, just as wonderful and full of marks.

It would be more shocking if there were more special effects in the big scene

Night Watch quotes

  • Anton Gorodetsky: Night Watch. Everyone step out of the Twilight.

  • [Geser lies on the floor with a book, telling the tale of the Virgin of Byzantium, the origin of the Others, the Great War, and the prophecy of the Great Other]

Geser: ...And so it will be, until a man emerges who is meant to become the Great One. And, if he chooses the side of Light, then Light will win. But, those, to whom the truth has been revealed, say that he will choose Darkness. For it is easier to kill the Light within oneself, than to scatter the Darkness around... The prophecies are coming true.
