Cleanly and neatly, I was once again moved to tears by the excellent documentary! Looking at the documentary footage, I was moved by the few words and phrases that quoted literary descriptions, especially the ending song accompanied by precious video materials, it was shocking to the bottom of my heart!
The horrified and helpless expression of the young German SS boy raising his hand to surrender is unforgettable. The most prosperous and comfortable street in Warsaw has become a hell on earth, the most beautiful city in Europe has become a sea of fire, the statues are still there, but Stalin Square is already blazing. . War is a disaster for mankind. The process is too cruel and the truth is too ugly. It is the evil result of the combination of human greed and prejudice. If you say "hope for world peace" after watching this film, I believe it is definitely not just empty words!
Western perspective. In the film, there is only one scene in China where the Japanese cavalry enters the Forbidden City; all the efforts of the former Soviet Union are for ulterior motives; the United Kingdom and the United States are incarnated as strong and righteous messengers, and all the flaws have difficulties.
The truth of history may be dusted forever, it seems that prejudice is always inevitable, and it is always easier to say that others do it than yourself. I sincerely hope that ideological prejudice will not cause another catastrophe. PS German uniforms are really handsome.
