The only time Tender Mercies appears in the movie is when Mac wrote a song specifically for his ex-wife but was rejected by his manager and his wife because the song was not good, and then Mac was extremely frustrated, and his wife said the best thing about the whole movie. Words from her heart:

Mac and Rosa's son sunny play as the ending. It also makes people feel infinitely emotional, Mac finally found a way to make up for his daughter's lifelong debt. Although I don't understand God's arrangement. The only thing he can do is to cherish, be grateful, and move forward.
