The naive era of disaster movies

Compared with the current disaster film, the theme and plot of this film inevitably seem a bit naive. As time goes by, the special effects shots are no longer shocking, the plots are no longer attractive, and the authenticity of the characters becomes its advantage. The behavior of the subsea laboratory personnel trapped in danger is real and reasonable. They are not heroes, and no one is rushing to save from danger. Some are greedy for life and fear of death, some are subjective and willful, and some are weak and desperate. Leaders are not so wise, not to mention how to have personal charm. On the contrary, the rescuers showed twelve points of composure and bravery. It is these ordinary characters and their flat performance that lock the audience's sympathy.
