Los Angeles novelist James Ellroy's police world has always had a dark and bloody side, and the films based on his novels range from "L.A. Confidential" (1997) to "Deep Blue" (2002), The Black Dahlia (2006) was on the decline. It should be said that the height of "L.A. Confidential" is difficult to break through, whether it is the novel itself or the adapted movie. Although this "Street Kings" was directed by David Ayer, the screenwriter of "Training Day", it did not improve much. Of course, if you didn't have much hope before watching the movie, it was naturally a good viewing experience. The best part of the movie is Keanu's performance. There is nothing surprising about the movie, and the suspense setting is bland and lackluster. Of course, there's a supporting role for Forest Whitaker, but he doesn't seem to make much of an appearance.
