I watched it seriously from beginning to end, and I had to be convinced by the charm of Thorabage. It was really mean and cool, and it stole Scarlett's limelight. This is the kind of film that you can't help but like after watching .
Enid is very similar to me in elementary school and junior high school. In fact, I am the same now, but I have more compromises, some worldly senses, and frankly, I have less courage than Enid. We are all the same. I also had a world-weary attitude, a confused youth, and experienced the unique loneliness. I was very immature but expected to mature, but in fact I just expected myself to get rid of that confused entanglement. We are always at a loss, we just know we have to keep going, just keep going.
It's really about growing up and it really touched my heart. I know the movie doesn't give me any advice in the end, and I don't expect the movie to give me any advice, those fake inspirational chicken soups are actually useless, I just want to share that loneliness and let myself know that there are too many people with me Just like me, I am a world-weary but hopeful child.
For the movie itself, Birch is irreplaceable and suitable for this role, Steve is still at ease, but Scarlett is the weakest. For the shots, I really like the director's colors and the simple old school style. The theme song of the soundtrack finally completed its most important mission in the last shot. The last scene where Enid walked to the station was perfect. But there was a problem with the rhythm and the camera in the front. After the old man got into the car, the camera slowed down. I thought the movie was over, but I didn't expect to suddenly cut to a close-up of Steve's face. If you stop at the script, it's impeccable. The Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay is indeed not for nothing, or that sentence, if you can't understand and empathize with her and her story, either you are too lucky and happy, or you Too precocious, or you are too hypocritical, by the way, there are really many hypocritical people. Plus I really like this movie so much, it's a five-star praise. It's a bit personal, so be it.
