We all know death is scary, just let me rebel for a while

We all know that death is scary, and that's why we struggle to keep ourselves away from it.

The male protagonist, Ben, has cancer and will not live long. Instead of healing, he chose to travel west, across Canada, in search of meaning in life, or "spiritual beasts."

The story is very simple, and it takes less than four lines to finish. But the movie has only just begun. the following.

Ben radiotherapy went on a trip. Although rationality told him that he would have a chance to survive if he went to treatment, it seemed that if he didn't face it for a day, he could face the reality later, and the reality that he might die.

The male protagonist is obviously timid, timid and cute.

Because he was reprimanded by the coach on the court as a child, he never played again

I want to give up on the journey, but I choose to keep going because of the simple riding insistence of strangers

All the way to the west, I will call my lover when I am free

Treasure and joy when he kisses the Stanley Cup, he's been told it will bring you good luck

When he survives a car accident without incident, he dances lamely and complains about his stupidity, and finally takes a picture of taking care of him.

And I think the most beautiful thing in life is being able to be with a lover, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper

...

"I'm not ready", the real thought that finally naturally spit out when his lover questioned:

I am not ready to face death.

So, let me run away for a while, go west, and be a little bit rebellious in a way I would never normally.

We all know death is scary, just let me rebel for a while

We all know growing up is hard, just let me rebel for a while

We all know life is hard, just let me rebel for a while

So, the male protagonist Ben decided to ride a motorcycle to find something beautiful, to escape for a while, to take an adventure, to go to the deep forest, valley, and further west, to the Pacific Ocean alone.

But Ben is also selfish, selfishly real.

Marriage was his next choice

Fear of death and choose to escape

seek a moment of pleasure

Admit that you don't love your lover that much

Don't want to be responsible, choose to walk away

...

But who can say what?

The bottom line of life is to live, in their own way.

Just let me be rebellious for a while, go see all the living beings,

in the last week

Do what you love, or do nothing

Anyway, you know

One Week quotes

  • Narrator: When you get those rare moments of clarity, those flashes when the universe makes sense, you try desperately to hold on to them. They are the life boats for the darker times, when the vastness of it all, the incomprehensible nature of life is completely illusive. So the question becomes, or should have been all a long... What would you do if you knew you only had one day, or one week, or one month to live. What life boat would you grab on to? What secret would you tell? What band would you see? What person would you declare your love to? What wish would you fulfil? What exotic locale would you fly to for coffee? What book would you write?

[Written on a black board: "To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."]

Ben Tyler: How bad is it?

    Doctor: It's stage four.

Ben Tyler: How many stages are there?

    Doctor: Four.
