I don’t know how far the film’s storyline is from the historical facts, but this is an epic film that fully interprets (give me liberty or give me death!) no freedom or give me death!
The film length of nearly three and a half hours may make the audience feel a little boring, but this is a multi-dimensional display of the film’s brewing emotions to the audience. Whether it is a solo fight or a big battle, the battle scene is not a grand and spectacular scene. But fighting is only one dimension.
The slaves showed their brothers and sisters, longing for love and a good family life, and the multi-dimensional rendering of the reason why people are human. Before the battle between the two armies, the commander of the two armies, that is, the slave and the slave owner, did it to their own teams. At the moment of his speech, I felt the climax of the whole film, rather than the subsequent battle of corpses!
The plot after the decisive battle was beyond my imagination. The victorious slave owner felt the indomitable will, heartfelt fear, anxiety and vulnerability of the slaves, while the lover and children of Spartacus were lucky enough to escape and were able to escape in the end. Fortunately to get a farewell at all times, the finale of the whole film makes the audience feel that justice has defeated evil, and their hearts are full of hope!
