At first I thought that this was an anti-war film that used absurd plots to mock the US military, but later found that every time the knife edge can be sharper and more bloody, the plot or the jokes are softened again.
Later I thought that this might be just a purely funny comedy, but watching the weird people and weird things on the screen, there seemed to be some other touches while laughing. (Hong Kong’s Trailer did a great job. Almost all the jokes have been summarized. The purely fun-seeking audience may be disappointed.)
Then, I finally understand that this story is actually about a group of frustrated or marginalized people, how to find it The goal of one's life, no matter how stupid the goal is, but if you can firmly believe in this goal and fight for it, then the frustrated or marginal life will be different from now on.
It is said that the concept of the new century and the super-power combat techniques mentioned in the movie are true in the US military.
For the audience, if you really believe in these superpowers, then you lose. (Because the dialogue between Lyn and Larry near the end of the film shows that the details that Bob narrated and quoted Lyn’s memories are not necessarily true.)
But for the group of Jedi in the film, it is because they really believe that they win NS.
