"Coffee and Cigarettes" - 11 small stories of sand

I discovered this movie because of the drink that I wanted to touch but couldn't touch, "coffee". And while watching, I was surprised to find that one of the short stories was performed by my favorite band "the white stripe", and the performance of jack and meg surprised me. And when I looked at some familiar names in the cast list, I was confused, why is this work not as well-known as I thought? Is it because it condenses everything into a tiny grain of sand?

More than an hour of time, including 11 short stories, coffee and cigarettes are must-see items, of course, people are too.

The dialogues of each short story are very interesting, especially the first one, two strangers, met in a cafe, and the ten-minute dialogue between the two can be said to be nonsensical. The seats were changed, and in the end, they sat back in their original positions, drinking coffee from left to right. They drank all N cups of coffee on the table, but they didn't finish it. It appears that the dentist becomes a key person for their next encounter, if they really want to. . . . . . In this colorless world, it seems that doing any silly thing has become interesting, no longer amuse oneself alone, but have someone to accompany.

The next few stories are all in black and white. I like the effect of the camera looking down. The center is facing the table. There will always only be coffee and cigarette boxes, small cups of coffee, glass bottles, and rectangular cigarette boxes. swing.

Asked a friend if he actually smokes when he drinks coffee? Because I don't seem to have seen this around me, and of course, because I have very few friends who smoke. He said that in France, drinking coffee and smoking is very common, and the French like it very much.

Usually, if I feel bored or my mind is blank, I like to go to a cafe and find a small corner to sit for a few hours. Of course, I must have a book to accompany me, because I think this feeling should be very comfortable. Of course, if I go to a coffee shop and don’t drink coffee again, milk tea will only be my only choice, although the milk tea in many cafes is very difficult to drink, or maybe it is the environment that I fell in love with.

In my usual self, when I sit alone in a cafe and read a book, my thoughts can easily drift away, and being in a daze has become my most common mental state, even though my eyes are looking at the book. Especially these days, I can't even go to a coffee shop. I seem to fall in love with the tranquility brought out by the movie "Coffee and Cigarettes", without too much music as the background, there will always be only one or two people's world, quiet, quiet, suddenly a word or two of irrelevant Words, continue to return to tranquility, this feeling actually makes me feel very excited, laughing from the heart, I think, this is a manifestation of loneliness, or the ability to hide from life.

Only you can see the sand in your eyes, you can hear it, and it rustles. Believe it, it really does.

  • Bill Murray: [Coughs] Doc, what could I do for this cough?

RZA: Shit, I was just thinking about that. Check this out: you get some hydrogen peroxide...

Bill Murray: We got that for cuts and stuff.

RZA: ...take fifty percent hydrogen peroxide, fifty percent water. You gargle with it. Do *not* swallow. You spit it out. Don't swallow, Bill Murray.

GZA: And if that doesn't work, try oven cleaner.

Bill Murray: We got that in the back, too.

  • Tom: Well... we could go to Taco Bell if that's more your style.

Iggy: You callin' me a Taco Bell kind of guy?
