. A film that reflects the 'wisdom' McCarthyism of the CBS production team. The black-and-white presentation method, the host's sleek and tidy back part, the white smoke rising from his hands, the real footage interspersed from time to time, the wedding ring worn on the neck of a married lady, and of course the calm closing remark, 'Good night' , good luck', constitutes a strong 50's atmosphere. Since it is a film about politics, the language in the film is extremely rigorous, and if you are distracted a little, you will miss the spiritual pleasure brought by the careful logic under the delicate language.
Plus, George Cloony finally got rid of the inherent romantic and suave diamond Wang Laowu impression and successfully shaped the figure of a determined producer. I am amazed. An ordinary cigarette became his indispensable prop.
