New jigsaw, new beginning

1. The biggest difference between this one and the previous ones is that this one is described from the perspective of the police (the protagonist), so it will not be as shocking as the previous ones, and the appearance of the big boss is not as shocking as the first one ( Although I didn't guess the big boss)

2. The new jigsaw in this film is a bit extreme, not as prudent as the old jigsaw (the old jigsaw will give those who participate in the game a chance), which leads to the idea expressed in the whole film more inclined to the direction of revenge, in the future It should be corrected in the sequel (if any)

3. Parts 1-7 form a closed loop, but this one itself forms a loop. Generally speaking, there is no suspense at the end of this one, but the plot is very compact

4. However, compared with the previous ones, this one has great innovations in narrative sequence, plot, and logic. Don’t compare it with the first seven. First of all, the ninth is the first work in the new series. (The 8th film is independent), it’s just the beginning, and secondly, a long series of movies like this will become more difficult to shoot later, and it’s already very good that the ninth film can still make my eyes shine.

5. On the whole, it is better than the 8th part, but it still has some shortcomings compared with the 1-7th part. I look forward to the tenth part.

  • Det. Zeke Banks: That crew killed four people last week, and we got 'em. And we coulda gotten more of 'em if my cover wasn't blown.

Captain Angie Garza: Fuck your cover, Zeke! You are off on your own, as usual, no backup, nothing.

Det. Zeke Banks: No backup 'cause there's nobody on the force I can fucking trust!
