I actually don't really know much about this history. It's a history lesson for me, Roland Emmerich! A master of disaster films, this film is also full of that sense of apocalyptic despair. Especially in the scene where Pearl Harbor was attacked and the actors climbed from one ship to another, the sea water was as daunting as hell on earth! The whole film tells about a lot of different historical real characters. It may be that there are too many stories and too legendary characters, which led to them not being taken back in the end. We can only rely on the popular science time at the end of the film to let the audience understand the characters, which is a pity. But it's a really cool movie, and I still recommend it!
