Dolokhov Jagged jerk

The character Dolokhov is very special. All the other main characters have backgrounds and growth experiences, but Dolokhov seems to have come out of a stone. Helping others without utilitarian intentions is a kind-hearted person; this kind of pure bullshit without purpose is a pure bastard. It's understandable to hurt others to benefit oneself, but this guy is doing bad things purely for fun.

According to his comprehensive ability, including appearance, force, IQ and mental quality, I am afraid that only Andrei is the opponent in the play, but this buddy has no intention of digging in, but wholeheartedly concentrates on cheating. The better you treat him, the more you will cheat him, the kind that will cheat you to death, and after cheating you still feel that others owe him.

He was heroic on the battlefield, but also brave and resourceful. But I don't think he's a hero, and it's more appropriate to call him an outlaw. Like he said himself, he likes to fight. The hero I understand is not not afraid of death, but willing to sacrifice for something more important than life, such as honor, ideal or homeland. As for Dolokhov, his hobbies are wars and friends.

I don't know if Tuo Lao has explained why Dolokhov has such a perverse and violent character. All in all, this buddy is a pure person, a person who is out of vulgar tastes, has no self-interest, specializes in cheating people, and consistently takes revenge on the society.

Anna Pavlovna Scherer: But mon cher ami, how can you be so calm? This... this monster, Bonaparte - he's crossed into Austria now and... who's to say that Russia won't be next.

  • [last lines]

Pierre Bezukhov: [voice-over] They say sufferings are misfortunes. But if I was asked, would I stay as I was before I was taken prisoner, or go through it all again? I would say for God's sake, let me be a prisoner again.

Pierre Bezukhov: Come, let's sit and eat and give thanks for our good fortune.

Pierre Bezukhov: [voice-over continued] When our lives are knocked off course, we imagine everything in them is lost. But it is only the start of something new and good. As long as there is life, there is happiness. There is a great deal... a great deal still to come.
