I watched it once many years ago. I was very impressed, I can't remember the specific plot. I watched it again recently, and I loved it even more. The filming is also very beautiful. The plot introduction on DOUBAN is very misleading. It is the sorrow of a country. The helplessness and insignificance of people in the historical trend. No matter how a country advertises democracy and freedom in its own country, what good things can it do in other people's land. This movie reminds me of 'The Quiet American'. A different perspective on this history.
