Female anchor alex does not belong to the kind of likeable character. She is always self-centered and can't control her emotions and lose her temper with others. She will also turn a blind eye to the female employee who was sexually harassed by her partner in the fitting room. Elephant in Silent Man. She's also an extremely professional person who can do excellent crisis PR when her partner is in a scandal. An ambitious and full of life, she and Bradley said "people always underestimate me" and "just grab what you need".
Reporter Bradley is an irritable and righteous man who defends the truth and is willing to fight for others, completely different from Alex's delicate self-interest. Her family did not treat her well, her mother preferred her drug-addicted brother, her father's absence, and her paranoid, irritable mother also contributed to her unhappy childhood. In a conversation with alex she describes herself as nobody, which is of course true, when nobody gets caught up in a feud and accidentally becomes a celebrity.
