piano boy

It seems that every time River appears, he seems to see light.

After a life of escape, I went to a new school to report on the first day. Silently walked into the classroom, sat on a chair in the corner, lowered his head slightly, blond hair, wearing glasses, trying to keep a low profile, this scene is too beautiful. When the teacher played Beethoven's music, he must have a sense of pride. Only after receiving this kind of education will one become familiar with such a world, and this world is not accessible to everyone sitting in the classroom.

Life on the run is scary and dark. There will never be an end, and the name, the environment, and the life will not be stable, although the father has repeatedly emphasized that at least the family is together. However, is this a kind of self-paralysis, unwilling to see the reality? The children are implicated by an irrelevant sense of responsibility, and they go to the end of the world together, without a fixed place to live. In such a life without hope and future, only piano and music are the solace in my heart. Even just playing silently on the practice board, even if it's just a walkman gifted by someone else, can make you extraordinarily happy. This is a redemption.

Because of the teacher's cherishing of talents, he instructed him to apply for excellent universities. For River, it seemed like a ray of hope.

It was a path his mother should have taken. Unfortunately, the reality is that they are on the run.

Before the end of the plot, I felt that the mother's love was selfless and great, knowing what the child wanted, even if he didn't say anything. And my father is pedantic and selfish!

But the ending was a surprise to me. I thought that my father actually knew everything, but he was more reluctant to give up his children than his mother. Very contradictory, very complex emotional interweaving, which makes this show extra touching.

I have to say that River's youthful feeling is like the little plum in the "Growing Pains" period. The difference is that it has a blurry and trance, which is distressing.

    Michael: Well, you ordered one.

Abigail Patterson: I didn't. Well, will you have to pay for it?

Michael: Oh no... I'll have to eat it.

  • Michael: If you want to go back, that's fine with me.

    Lorna: You're a bully.

    Michael: No. I'm a liar.
