After watching this movie, I felt the same way. The foreigner, who is a little strange and a little naughty in the movie, repeatedly renders the appearance of ominous things on this land, and the Jacob family always seems to be shrouded in this invisible shadow. The farms that poured out their savings and even invested with bank loans, first worried about the lack of water, and then struggled to find a seller, and eventually all their crops were destroyed by a fire. Grandma, who came from South Korea across the sea, managed to get on well with her grandson, but unexpectedly suffered a stroke. She wanted to help with something, but it caused a disaster.
Fortunately, David's body is recovering gratifyingly, and the fire has brought the couple who are about to separate together again. In the near future, things will slowly get better.
