The classic O'Henry ending The area is small, there are few names, and the conflicts are concentrated. It's hard, not a comedic ending like in a Les Misérables opera. The sentence at the end of the film, "There are no bad crops in the world, and there are no bad people, only bad farmers," sums up the whole film very well. Throughout the whole film, no one is a pure bad guy who ends up making a big mistake. When all unfavorable factors are combined, accidental events ignite, and tragedy will occur. The only "good man" could not be reversed, but instead ruined himself.

Poverty, a deteriorating environment, a low level of education, poor quality, a lack of proper education, gang culture, traditional ideas, and other factors shape these children's lives; however, they have no control over this. For the police on behalf of the government, they can't handle everything, but everything is under their control, and if all the procedures are followed, it will become inefficient and ineffective, so Chris chose his way, but in the end, And it led to the result of being hostile to everyone. Everyone is hostile to each other, and the complex cultural background and conflict of interests make one block in Paris seem like several countries, and people use primitive methods to resolve various disputes. Vada's from here; he's used to doing it that way, but he's different from Chris, who has top-down contempt, and he understands people's behavior. However, he was greatly influenced by his own emotions and lacked the mentality of an "ideal policeman," which eventually led him to shoot and wound the child, and the fuse was ignited.

As for Stephen, it can be said that he did the best he could, but he couldn't stop everything from sliding into the abyss. People generally lack education and legal awareness, and they do not respect the law and the police, so that the police here cannot use formal means, so they use law enforcement methods that adapt to local rules; because children lack education and legal awareness, normal characteristics such as playfulness evolve. It has become a criminal act, and the crime is magnified because of simple ideas such as holding a group. The police here, relying only on the government's name (not very useful) and the weapons in their hands, have become one of the many forces in the block, and they are alone. Without comprehensive governance and a generation, it is almost certain that eventually this will happen. Finally, I am glad that I did not live in such a block. We should be grateful for our current life and work hard for a better world. Not all good deeds can be rewarded with gratitude, and not all good people have good rewards, but if we can work together for it, there is hope for everything to improve.
