White tiger and chicken coop

A smooth looking movie. The story of a low-caste person who walked out of the village step by step and turned into a servant and then from a servant driver to an entrepreneur through various means, even murdering his master.

The actors are also very good, with a mixture of naivety and flattery in their smiles. He is smart, has the desire and action to break through the caste cage, and is good at seizing opportunities with improper means, such as reporting driver No. 1 who hides his Muslim beliefs, such as asking the master to get into the car and abandon the injured immediately after Pinky hits someone. They are also bound by the caste system. For example, when they were forced to sign a confession, they did not resist the conditions for peace talks.

Although the young master with a western education has already treated him relatively equally, in the bottom of his heart he regards himself and him as two types of people. The image of the white tiger chicken cage is also full of irony. The male protagonist said that there are only two ways to escape the cage, crime or politics. He took the crime road, while the great socialist went through politics. Neither person is clearly a positive person in the usual sense. The only reasonably positive Pinky is also a normal looking person to us by escaping India to America.

In the film, many local customs and practices of India were photographed, such as garbage mountains on the street, unknown objects floating in the Ganges, various food stalls in the snack street, and row upon row of wealthy districts. The servants in the noble community all live in the underground garage, without even a door. I don't know if this is real India. Because as a Chinese, I have seen many Western films vilifying and stereotyped about China and Russia. I don’t know how much prejudice there is in this film and the director’s personal inclination. The life in the end in my mind a little bit.

Speaking of which, it seems that most of the Indians in my colleagues are of two upper castes.
