white winter

"Comrade-in-arms" is an anti-war film. Over the frigid Norwegian wilderness, British and German warplanes were shot down by each other in a fierce aerial battle. In this isolated place, they must do everything in their power to survive the harsh winter. Although the war made them enemies, this hostility was difficult to maintain as the days passed. In the need for each other, an unconventional friendship begins to sprout. In the end, they became close comrades-in-arms. In any case, war is absurd.

This film provides one way of doing things based on national beliefs, and the other is the harmonious coexistence of humanitarianism. The trade-off between the two contradictions in wartime leads to follow-up thinking. The laughter is no longer, the wooden house in the snow is still there. The boundaries remain, the war remains. The final subtitles indicate a sequel to Schopis and Davenport, so, war is temporary and friends are permanent.
