I thought it was to tell a story of trauma caused by a woman's failed childbirth, but after watching the whole film, it is far more than that.
The blow is devastating, but what about after the destruction? The couple, who seemed to be happy and loving at first, fell apart all of a sudden. The husband obviously couldn't bear the pain, and couldn't even empathize with his wife's thoughts, so he vented in the worst possible way. After doing all the damage, with a sum of money given by his mother-in-law, he walked away in despair. It's nothing, he doesn't deserve it.
But the sad thing about this woman who has gone through everything is that no one seems to really understand her. Not a husband, not a mother, not a sister. It seems that she can only fight alone in this darkness.
And in the end, only time can heal everything. I really like the ending, everything will be alright, everything will be there. Wait, get over it, and eventually a breeze will bring you the scent of apples.
