A little bit of thought derived from the movie

“Still here.”

Great respect. Fighting for those who you don't know personally and fighting against the rigged system, amid pressures from all dimensions of life (work & career, family & marriage, friendship...) really takes a lot of courage, persistence and faith. I was jerked to tears by the movie many times, and the journey of the male protagonist was too easy.

In front of a huge system/big company, the power of one person/small group of people is really too weak and too weak. How can I make my voice heard + ideas accepted? This is even true between me and my uni, a person's voice and ideas are too light and insignificant in front of the school; and it is very difficult to inspire others to join you - I don’t know if it’s human nature. Most people are either too lazy or too indifferent (for example, if they feel that this initiative cannot directly affect themselves, they don’t care about fighting for it).

The more I think about it, the more my heart is filled, the problem feels unsolved.

Big companies are allowed to do whatever they want because the system is not perfect, and those in power are afraid of offending big companies, which further fuels their arrogance. I have seen a lot of these kinds of films, but this film focuses on events, such as a news documentary-style approach, which is unpretentious and stable between finding evidence and litigation. In addition, I really like the portrayal of the marital relationship of the protagonist couple. Their dialogue is the most honest and realistic I have ever seen.

"Still here." Very moved. How to deal with injustice in this world? It seems rare to see the partners of large law firms appearing in such a positive image... There is a scene that is exactly the same as the one in "The Irishman", as if an intertextuality hints at the similarities between large companies and gangs.
