A little bit of thought derived from the movie

“Still here.”

Great respect. Fighting for those who you don't know personally and fighting against the rigged system, amid pressures from all dimensions of life (work & career, family & marriage, friendship...) really takes a lot of courage, persistence and faith. I was jerked to tears by the movie many times, and the journey of the male protagonist was too easy.

In front of a huge system/big company, the power of one person/small group of people is really too weak and too weak. How can I make my voice heard + ideas accepted? This is even true between me and my uni, a person's voice and ideas are too light and insignificant in front of the school; and it is very difficult to inspire others to join you - I don’t know if it’s human nature. Most people are either too lazy or too indifferent (for example, if they feel that this initiative cannot directly affect themselves, they don’t care about fighting for it).

The more I think about it, the more my heart is filled, the problem feels unsolved.

The skeleton is about the confrontation between the individual and the power, and the flesh is about the cruelty of time and the torture of loneliness. The camera simulates the process of a helpless person looking for the same kind in the thick fog in the repetition of foreground blocking, constant panning and penetrating freeze frame. Todd Haynes's understanding of the political manifesto is inward, and the halo cannot be given by others, only by himself.

There is such a world in such rules, no matter the tone, composition, rhythm or wanton graininess, Hines has injected a lot of his own things. Slightly contrary to the routine, it weakens the character orientation, takes root in the environment, accumulates strength in the gentleness, and brews thunder in the dullness. A downright sense of powerlessness (a compliment). After reading it, I ran to take out the non-stick pan and looked at it for a long time, recalling the fear of being dominated by the polymerization reaction.
