Imitation must fall into clichés

The film is surprisingly similar in structure to Pulp Fiction, with a seemingly fragmented timeline that is buckled into a circle at the end of the story, but alas, the success of Pulp Fiction makes all the imitations of its successors futile
. I know why the director insisted on adding a superpower to predict the future to the male protagonist. In fact, even if he does not have this ability, it will not affect the development of the story at all. After all, encountering a female singer has nothing to do with his superpower. I don't believe that this is to pay tribute to Brother Cage's foreseeable future. After all, that bad film has no capital to pay tribute to others.
If there is any shining point in the film, then the rhythm of the whole story is still well mastered. A blunt imitation will inevitably appear tasteless, and it does not match the excessive score.
