The lines in this episode are very well written. I watched it twice and found it to be a lot of aftertaste. The writing of Baja, Sam and the new American team is very vivid. Another aspect of the police's attitude towards African-Americans reflects reality in particular. Add two drumsticks to the screenwriter.
(The following contains spoilers for the second episode of #Falcon and the Winter Soldier, please discuss or read after watching the episode)
1) Very happy that white wolf was mentioned again
Although this name has not been exploited, the series still does not completely ignore its existence.
And it's funny
Sam: "You went to Wakanda for a while and became a white leopard?"
Bucky: "It's actually a white wolf."
Sam : "Clam?"
2) Baha's reference to the shield several times, also for the first time showing his dissatisfaction with Steve's decision to leave the shield to Sam at the time. He said: "Steve he may have misunderstood you and misunderstood me." (if he was wrong about you then he was wrong about me") as if to give people a sense of "you might as well leave the shield to me." " of resentment.
It feels like this may set the stage for him to hope to win the shield in the future. Earlier, he didn't want a shield, compared to Buddha, because he believed in Steve's choice, and now he began to doubt this choice. And when the fight appeared again in the film, he received the shield and said, "Let's go get the shield back."
3) Baha refuses to be called "Buck" by others, saying, "Only Steve can call me that. I'm not familiar with you."
4) Baja's temper has been shown more, we have seen the difference between him and Sam, his temper is more impatient and reckless, and he likes to stare at people [haha] The funniest thing is that every time I see the new US team, I can only get angry Drumming glared at others, not daring to do anything, always silently reminding himself: "The second rule is not to hurt others."
5) The scene of jumping the plane is funny and knife. The change of his destiny begins with a fall from a height. He didn't die that time, but he lost his arm. Now he is no longer afraid of falling from heights. However, it doesn't mean that he can fly, he still has to land on his butt. Sam: "I recorded it all!" If he uploaded it to YouTube, he would probably name this video: "Old man jumping out of a plane."
6) Two people have been bickering like an old couple
Bucky: "Why are you so close to me!?"
Sam: "I know you like me being so close to you."
Bucky: "Would you like to come with me or not."
Sam: "I'm just joking, don't go."
Rolling the lawn is more deliberate.
Especially when the psychiatrist asked them if they had heard of the treatment for mediating conflicts between husband and wife, the two bachelors said in unison, "Obviously not!"
7) In addition, new characters "Battlestar" (aka Lemar Hoskins) and "Black Captain America" (aka Isaiah Bradley) finally appeared, the latter's offspring is also expected to become one of the Young Avengers Elijah Bradley, the Patriot.
The series also uses the encounters of these three African-American superheroes to map the deep-rooted racism problem in the United States. Their treatment has never caught up with the white heroes around them. Sam quarreled with Ba Haw, but the police asked Ba Haw if he had been threatened, and only wanted Sam's ID, which was obvious discrimination.
8) I love that this show has multiple different characters embarking on an adventure for the same purpose. As predicted, instead of hunting down Zemo, they need to turn to him because he has investigated the super soldier serum.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier; Captain America and Battlestar; Zemo; and Sharon Carter will all go after this in different ways, trying to stop the super soldier serum from getting into the wrong hands. Official/official heroes, unsung heroes and antiheroes must unite. And there should be a big boss behind him, hoping that the fisherman will benefit, and also want to find these people who stole the serum, because the serum belongs to him. Still think this is General Ross.
9) Who is Power Broker? In the second episode, a new mysterious character named Power Broker is mentioned. This name appears in the end credits, together with the small blue bottle (above), it is estimated that it is the person who sells the super soldier serum. The show's rebel group, the Flag-Smasher, mentions that the Power Broker is after them. Maybe it was this Power Broker who texted Flag-Smasher leader Karli Morgenthau. The text message read: "You took what was mine, I'm going to find you and kill you." Then the guy sent by the Power Broker was really vicious, and in the end, he shot Karli's friend directly.
However, the true identity of Power Broker is difficult to say that he is a person he has never seen before, who is just selling serum, or a person who makes serum, or simply General Ross. The reason why I have always suspected General Ross is because he once tried to make this super soldier serum in the Hulk, copying Captain America, and has always had this ambition. He's also always wanted to control superheroes.
Speaking of which, John Walker, the new Captain America in the second episode, showed an unclear and surprised look when he heard that the Flag-Smasher team was a super soldier, and he did not answer directly when interviewing him on TV. How can you be so powerful. But in fact, it can be seen from his fights that he and his companion "Battlestar" (aka Lemar Hoskins) are not ordinary people, and they must have been injected with super soldier serum, but they are only controlled by the government and the government. It is very likely that Brainwashed, or pretending to be confused. General Ross is currently the US Secretary of Defense in the Marvel Universe, so it would make sense if he was the one behind the creation of the new Captain America with super soldier serum. But it is very likely that the serum fell into the wrong hands, causing Flag-Smasher to acquire super-soldier abilities as well.
The new Captain America also has a girlfriend in this episode (and a Hispanic actor who pays great attention to ethnic diversity, even Captain America's girlfriend is not white), I don't think it was just put there casually. In the comics, after John Walker's parents were killed, he became so angry that he did something wrong and was stripped of his Captain America title. So this girlfriend looks very dangerous, and it is likely that the unfortunate sacrifice became the cause of John Walker's rampage.
